Behind the scenes

My name is Victoria Calhoun, and I am a morning news anchor. Media is a high priority in today’s world, so telling stories through various types of media is my passion.

I am a graduate of Liberty University, where I developed a stronger love for becoming a multimedia journalist. Liberty gave me many opportunities to use my skills to find my niche.

My experience with journalism, thus far, has provided me with various opportunities to grow my journalistic voice. The broadcasting/journalism industry is a fast-paced environment that sometimes can feel overwhelming. However, as a reporter, you need to produce quality content in a face-paced work environment, and that is where I thrive.

Since I was little, I have always had a passion for reporting. I remember my mother would have the news every morning before work, and once I was dressed and ready for the day, I would have the news on every morning. There is not a day that goes by that I do not seek to understand the happenings of the world around me through various platforms of the news.

Now, I am a weekday morning anchor and reporter for news. I made my dreams come true, and I enjoy every minute of it.
